Legal Education Group for Aggie Law Students is a student organization that focuses on providing its members with the tools and skills that will prepare them for law school. We represent Texas A&M in moot court and mock trial competitions across the country. Through this particpation, undergraduates are able to practice certain legal techniques and procedures that will be benefical towards a legal career and success in law school.
LEGALS is an award winning organization on campus that has sent teams to nationals in years past and will continue to strive to be competitive at a national level every year. Our members have also won top awards such as, top attorney honors, top witness honors, and other debate honors.
This organization is also a wonderful way to have fun, network, and make friends.
In order to be apart of this student organization, we don't require our members to compete. This way students can learn and grow before being asked to compete.
L.E.G.A.L.S. Mission Statement
Beginning in 1991 and continuing to this day, The Legal Education Group for Future Aggie Law Students (L.E.G.A.L.S.) gives Texas A&M students an opportunity to further their rhetorical, analytical, and reasoning skills by providing an opportunity to compete in moot court and mock trial. By cultivating these skills and creating an atmosphere where likeminded Aggies can compete, collaborate, and communicate, L.E.G.A.L.S. helps to create networks and opportunities that will follow students for a lifetime.
